1 c. soft oleo
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 T. white corn syrup
1 T. baking soda
1 egg
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 t. cinnamon
1 1/2 t. nutmeg
1 1/2 t. cloves
1 1/2 t. orange peel
Mix in order. Dough will be stiff. Roll out and cut. Bake 10 minutes at 350*. Do not add more cookies on cookie sheet while it's still hot. Cool before decorating.
This is my grandson's favorite cookie. Jason Marshall is going to Hollywood. He's going to be a movie star.
