5 egg whites
1 small box cherry jello
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
silver ball cake decorations
Beat egg whites until frothy. In a bowl, combine jello and sugar.Slowly beat into egg whites. Beat with an electric mixer until whites form soft peaks. Gently add 1 cup of the pecans. Drop by heaping teaspoons, 1" apart on a greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle on remaining pecans and silver balls. Bake 35 minutes at 275*. Cool before removing from pan.
To ease the cost of Valentine's Day for three daughters, tonight I used my best dishes and served these.
Put three on a heart shaped paper doily.

I had to call in sick today. Waiting tables with such a bad cough isn't going to happen. You got to stay home on a Saturday night with me and we played Candy Land and colored and read books. I am so blessed.
