Toad Soup

February


1 c. onions
2 T. oil
7 c. water
3 beef bouillon cubes
1 160z. can stewed tomatoes
1 10oz. pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1 1/2 c. pasta rings
salt / pepper
1 t. garlic powder

In a dutch oven, cook onions in oil until tender. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring, reduce heat. Simmer, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes.

Toad comes from the nickname of my oldest daughter Jody. White haired during her young years and called
"Jody Toady". She loved it.

About garlic:
Rubbing your hands with coffee grounds will remove garlic odor from hands. Also try rubbing your hands with stainless steel under running water
