Coconut Cookies

February


1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 t. salt
1 t. baking powder
1 t. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. coconut
1 T. water

Blend ingredients in order listed until smooth. Drop by teaspoonfuls 1" apart on a lightly greased cookie sheet.Bake 7 minutes at 375*

About chocolate:
Store chocolate in a cool, dry place. Since it contains cocoa butter, chocolate will develop white spots if allowed to get too warm. Chocolate will keep up to a year if air sealed.
