1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. green bell pepper, chopped
2 T. oleo
2 T. flour
salt / pepper
1 c. milk
3 c. potatoes, cooked, cubed
1 3/4 c. ham, cooked, cubed
3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Saute onion and green pepper in oleo. Blend in flour. Season to taste. Gradually add milk, cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into a 1 1/2 qt. casserole. Bake 35 minutes at 350*. Serves 5
Valentine party tip or any party:
For a pretty effect under candlelight, cover the table with aluminum foil under a lace tablecloth.
Garnish cold drinks with fresh raspberries or strawberries and fresh mint leaves.
