Heart Cheese Ball

February 14, 1990


2 8oz. pkgs. cream cheese
2 pkgs. wafer slice beef
1 bunch green onions
2 T. parsley flakes
2 T. Worcestershire sauce

When cream cheese is at room temp.. add chopped beef and minced green onions. Mix in parsley and Worcestershire sauce. On a pretty platter, arrange the cheese into a heart shape, chill. When ready to serve, add crackers around the sides.

Today is icy and the streets are sheets of ice. My husband is not fond of sweets so I surprised him with this after he warmed up and turned his favorite non-sport tv show "Unsolved Mysteries."
Plus his favorite beef stew in the crock pot:)

Crock Pot Tips:
Just a little water is needed and don't use dairy products as they will curdle.
Place hard  fresh vegetables, as carrots, first, then meats.
Use whole leaf herbs so they won't evaporate. Always keep the lid on.
